As you prepare to begin your role as a medical/surgical technician, please review the list of items you must purchase before your first day in clinic so you can arrive ready and fully prepared.

To Purchase New Scrubs

Please follow the steps below:

Determine your sizes
Identify your scrub sizes for both top and bottom. If you plan to purchase a scrub jacket or undershirt, please include those sizes as well.
Submit your order request
Email Jami Brinton at jamipalmerbrinton@brintonvision.com with the subject line:
“First Name Last Name – Scrub Order”
Include order details
In your email, list the sizes and items you would like to order. Jami will place the order on your behalf and provide a confirmation.
Embroidery and pickup
Your scrubs will be embroidered and prepared for pickup prior to your start date. Please coordinate pickup with Emma Tribbey or Helen Ha.

Payment:
The cost of scrubs will be deducted from your first two paychecks.

Female technicians:

Female technicians need 3 black scrub sets and 1 blue scrub set. We currently use Mandala Scrubs. All scrubs must be embroidered through Brinton Vision’s designated embroiderer.

Brinton Vision also has a limited number of gently used scrub sets available for purchase, including the required blue scrubs. Available scrub sets are offered at 50% of the original cost. Please note that these scrubs are used and already embroidered.

The blue scrubs are not currently in stock on the Mandala website, so they must be purchased through Brinton Vision’s scrub inventory. To request blue scrubs, please contact Jami Brinton at jamipalmerbrinton@brintonvision.com. If you’d also like to purchase black scrubs through Brinton Vision, just mention that in your email. If you prefer to buy new black scrubs, follow the instructions at the top of the page to order them.

NOTE: We will order your scrubs to be delivered to our office so that we can embroider them for you before your start date.

Scrubs should be taken home and washed on your own. Shoes must stay in your locker in the 2nd floor team room and should not be worn outside the building, including during lunch.

Scrubs and shoes purchased by the technician remain the technician’s property after employment.

Male technicians:

Male technicians need 4 black scrub sets. We currently use Mandala Scrubs. All scrubs must be embroidered through Brinton Vision’s designated embroiderer.

Required Technician Shoes

All technicians (male and female) are required to purchase shoes to wear while on shift at Brinton Vision. Technicians will keep these shoes in their Brinton Vision locker.
